Terms & Conditions

These terms outline how we accept orders, payments and cancellations. By placing an order with The Tiny Baker you agree to the points below.

Ordering

All orders are subject to availability. We confirm by email within one working day.
Lead times vary by product. Rush orders may incur an additional fee.
Custom commissions require a written brief and approval of the design before baking begins.

Deposits & payment

Orders under £50 are payable in full when confirmed.
Custom cakes over £50 require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the date.
Remaining balances are due 3 days before collection/delivery unless we agree otherwise.
We accept PayPal, bank transfer and cash on collection (by prior arrangement).

Changes & cancellations

Minor changes (inscription, ribbon colour) are free up to 4 days before fulfilment.
Date changes are subject to availability and may incur a rescheduling fee.
Cancellations within 72 hours of fulfilment forfeit the deposit. Ingredients already purchased may be charged.

Allergens & dietary needs

We bake in a kitchen that handles gluten, eggs, dairy and nuts. While we take great care, cross-contamination is possible. Please highlight allergies when ordering so we can advise on suitable options.

Collection & delivery

Collection is from Moss Side, Manchester, M14 at the agreed time slot.
Local delivery is available within Greater Manchester. Fees depend on distance and will be confirmed in advance.
Please ensure someone is available to receive delivery; re-delivery may incur an additional fee.

Quality guarantee

We handcraft every bake. Please contact us within 24 hours if something isn’t right so we can put it right quickly.

Photography & marketing

We may photograph completed cakes for our portfolio and social media. Let us know if you prefer we do not share images until after your event.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the order. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
